Pinky The Elephant

Meet Pinky, a local legend that brings a touch of whimsy to our streets.

Pink the Elephant was a much-loved icon of the Pink Elephant Hotel & Supper Club in the City of Marquette, Iowa, situated in the bluffs of the Mississippi River. With his friendly demeanor, top hat, and ever-present cocktail, Pinky was a stylish chap who welcomed guests and graced the front cover of the 1970’s menu. The restaurants served steaks and seafood and offered a cocktail lounge overlooking the river. Boat docking facilities were available for hungry customers who arrived by water in this charming tourist town. The Pink Elephant Hotel & Supper Club was torn down in 2009, but the iconic Pinky, complete with his top hat, welcomes visitors to the Casino Queen.
